Join us for a special gathering as the Attorney General of the State of Washington will present a Grant to the Battle Ground HealthCare Free Clinic.
BATTLE GROUND HEALTHCARE CLINIC RECEIVES WASHINGTON STATE GRANT FOR SPECIALIZED TREATMENT.
Since 2011, the Battle Ground HealthCare Free Clinic has been specializing in treating chronic health conditions for the uninsured, who are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and between the ages of 18 and 65 in North Clark County, WA.
Now the clinic has been awarded a $184,000 three-year grant from the Washington State Attorney General’s office to institute a formal treatment plan for patients experiencing chronic pain.
The grant will enable the clinic to access proven effective strategies for current patients who would otherwise not be able to afford these specialized services. Treatment will be focused on non-medication based opportunities such as weight loss, proper sleep, nutrition, physical and occupational therapies, and psychological support.
The Battle Ground HealthCare Free Clinic’s growth and outreach for chronic medical care and dental services to those in need, is made possible by one time or on-going monthly/yearly donations from our caring community. Donations can be financial or medical/dental equipment and supplies. Volunteers can also donate time and expertise.
