Vancouver Networking
This meeting is designed for networking, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your business or organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or round table discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
Our special guest speaker for February is Eddie White with the YMCA. Eddie grew up in Anchorage Alaska & went to school at Oregon State. He met his wife while attending school & they decided to stay in the area, wherein they have lived in Vancouver since 2003 & have a 20 month old daughter and a son going on 5 years. Eddie learned to swim at the YMCA and played a variety of sports including BMX racing. Professionally, he worked with many YMCA’s as a sports camp provider, while working with the Skyhawks & has been an employee of the YMCA since 2007. Historically, the emphasis of the Christian principles of Love, Respect, Honesty, Responsibility and Service have been a big part of the YMCA. Now there is a local & national movement to put the "C" (Christ), back into the YMCA. Come & learn more!
