Happy Independence Day!!! America’s 250th starts today with major events planned over the next year, as well as the start of America’s Golden Age!
What an incredibly good, good Father we have in Heaven, who loves us so much that He asked His one & only Son to lay down His Life, so that our God, our very own Dad, could get His Family back and then He did the absolutely impossible by being raised from the dead and giving each one of us His amazing Holy Spirit, so that we would no longer live as slaves, as orphans, but royal sons and daughters of The One True King!! Jesus has literally invited us to know and experience the Love of His Father, NOW!!!
Since almost the very beginning of Serving Our Neighbors in 1999, we have been encouraging Believers throughout the greater Portland/Vancouver metro area to set aside Father’s Day each year and join us honoring our Father in a “SON Preparation Day,” so that we can be ready to be about serving our neighbors in any natural or man-made emergency situation or crisis that would destroy our lives, our marriages, our families, our work or businesses, as well as our communities throughout the Northwest and America!
We have a massive national crisis and a major emergency situation that we are facing almost daily and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, as time moves on from day to day, month to month and year to year! Just like a frog being boiled alive, as the temperature is increased little by little, our world is getting hotter and hotter and everywhere you turn, hearts are getting harder and harder, darker and darker. What actually started in the Garden of Eden continues to impact every facet of society and culture! Fatherlessness!!!
So, what is the solution? What will bring hope and healing to America, our communities, our work and businesses, our families, our marriages and our own personal lives? Fatherfullness!!! That incredible ache, that deep inner longing of every heart on this planet, is to know who our real Father is! To be able to crawl up into His lap and let Him hold us in His every loving arms, so that we can be at rest and at home with Him, in a place of overwhelming peace, love & joy! Only our Father can change our dark and hard hearts!
It doesn’t matter whether you had a good father, a bad father or a really bad father ... the deepest longing of God’s heart is that YOU would not only know Him as your Creator, your Savior, your King, your Healer, your Provider and your Friend, but more than anything, Almighty God wants you to know Him as your REALLY GOOD FATHER, your Dad, your Papa, your Abba, your Daddy! YOU were created in His Heart, YOU are His Beloved son, and He loves, He lives to hear YOUR voice, YOUR heart cry out to Him, Papa!! Daddy!! Abba!!
Since 1997, our great friend George La Du (with The Identity Project, The Beloved & Kingdom Living) and I have been working together for more than 28 years, and throughout 2021-2024, we both experienced an activation of the Father's Love via the ministry of Ken & Teena Starr with Heal Our Land, wherein our Father changed everything for us! In Aug of 2024, Papa God directed me to create PapaLovesMe.com to begin introducing our Father's Love to our family and friends within, and beyond, the greater Portland / Vancouver metro area, and to create an easy place for accessing ALL the Resources (YouVersion - Bible Plans, YouTube videos, Audio Books, PDF's, Paper Books, Social Media & Websites) that we have been soaking in over the past several years, and to share my own personal Story of getting to know our Father now (rather than waiting until we have entered Heaven), as well as deepening our relationship with our Father's Son, Jesus, our Savior & King and His precious and powerful Holy Spirit!
Throughout 2024, I kept hearing our Father say to my heart, "It's Time!" and then in 2025, I began to hear "Daddy's Home!!" and now "Let's Fly!!!" On Wed, Jun 11, 2025, Papa God directed me to begin producing a “Father Loves You!” podcast (starting in August) and then organizing massive "Portland, Father Loves You!" campaigns, outreaches & gatherings (with keynote speakers like Leif Hetland, Tim Johnson , Ed Piorek, Barry Adams, Kris Vallotton, Michael Thompson, etc.), as well as impacting other cities across the nation, like Chicago, F.L.Y., Miami, F.L.Y., Atlanta, F.L.Y., Los Angeles, F.L.Y., to bring massive healings, after this year's potential "Summer of Love" Protests & Riots! I was absolutely stunned that FatherLovesYou.com & FatherLovesYou.org were actually available!!
For Father's Day, Jun 15, 2025, Papa God directed me to build out a new website with the new Gospel Tract that George La Du, Seth Brooks & I had created for sharing The Greatest Love Story!!! Our overall goal would be to release healing & prophetic words over folks in the marketplace (on the streets, in coffee shops & shopping malls), wherein all we need to do is pull up this website on our phones & lead them to Jesus, so that they can fully know our Father now, in the power of His Holy Spirit! Then, our teams of volunteers, would bring these new brothers & sisters to our "Father Loves You!" gatherings for more Love, more Deliverance, more Healings, more Worship, more Teachings and Trainings, etc. & plug them into local fellowships for more one-on-one Discipleship & help us in releasing them into their Kingdom/Family Assignments from our Father!!!

As a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) of Strategic Leaders in our greater Portland/Vancouver metro area, SON encourages all Believers to start with Prayer (Vertical Agreement in hearing what God our Father wants where we Live, Learn, Work & Play), followed by Care (Horizontal Agreement in what God our Father shows us to Be, Say & Do in our Neighborhood, School & Worklife) and then Share (planting Seeds of Hope & Love in the hearts & minds of others, when we are asked to share our Faith in our Father & His Son). We must have Revival AND Reformation working together, so that we don’t lose the coming Billion+ Harvest of Souls AND we are beginning to see strategic & significant Transformation of our Nations’ Society & Culture into our Father’s Kingdom Family & His Will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven!
For Revival, we are continuing to serve & work strategically with Chris & Stephanie Overstreet of Compassion To Action, in organizing their monthly NW Evangelist Gatherings and Flood PDX Outreaches (the 1st Fri & Sat of each month), wherein volunteers now meet at our new Garden Space PDX (a Prayer Room & Urban Abbey for the City in Oldtown/Chinatown) to be encouraged, trained & sent out to share the Gospel on the streets and via CTA’s mini Gospel Trucks. As they go, many experience healings, deliverances & salvations, which are then posted on the United Hive app, wherein our goal is to also do at least 200 Gospel Truck Outreaches by the end of 2025.
For Reformation, we’re continuing to serve & work strategically with Patrice & Gina Tsague of the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community (formerly Nehemiah Project International Ministries) in promoting their Biblical Entrepreneurship, their new Nehemiah Business Life Cycle Course, their annual (in person) Best Practice Business Conference & their annual (online) Nehemiah Business Summit. We are now hosting our monthly Nehemiah NW Connect Meetings at their new Smart Oregon Solutions (SOS) – Technology Innovation Center at our historic Lloyd Center Mall in NE Portland. SOS is a renewable energy company that Patrice & Bill Gibbons created to support Nehemiah, as well as other non-profit ministries, such as SON & many more, via their SOS Global Foundation!
Also after 6 years, our new radio station ministry, Worship 24/7 (which is now being heard on 96.3 FM in the greater Portland / Vancouver metro area & 15 other FM stations across our nation, as well as on-line and on-mobile in 212 nations & territories) is now officially a part of the Hope Media Group family. And our theme for our 24th Clark County Prayer Breakfast (at the Vancouver Hilton on Thu, Nov 6th, 7-9am) is “It’s For Our Kids!” with our Keynote Speaker, the new President of Corban University, Dr John Mark Yeats!
Finally in 2020, we released “The Case For The Marketplace Catalyst”, which is the future replacement for the Christian Chamber of Commerce of the Northwest and will become of a part of the new US Christian Chamber of Commerce, that Ford Taylor, Patrice Tsague, Chuck Proudfit and other marketplace ministry leaders created in 2023. Pray with us for God’s timing in relaunching The Marketplace Catalyst (TMC) & our monthly TMC-Business Development Group Forums, as well as our weekly TMC-Influence Builder Groups, our annual Marketplace Summits and our SON Institute (SONi), a new AI platform that is now possible to build out!
