Event Description:
Learn how a company founded and operating on Christian principles makes a profit and grows successfully!

Our special guest speaker for February will be AJ DeLaRosa of ServiceMaster of Salem, speaking on the Godly principles embraced by this nationwide company.  ServiceMaster has come a long way since its incorporation in 1947.  Founded as a moth-proofing company in 1929 by Marion E. Wade, a former minor league baseball player, ServiceMaster had its beginnings in Chicago where Wade worked out of his home.  Wade had a strong personal faith and a desire to honor God in all he did.  Translating this into the marketplace, he viewed each individual employee and customer as being made in God's image - worthy of dignity and respect.  The ServiceMaster Commitment includes a foundational commitment to Honor God in all they do, eight values and three core objectives to Help People Develop, Excel With Customers and Grow Profitably.  2011 revenues were over $3 billion.

With a global network of more than 6,900 company-owned, franchise and licensed locations, Memphis-based ServiceMaster is one of the world’s largest residential and commercial service networks.  Through approximately 24,000 corporate associates and a franchise network that independently employs over 31,000 additional people, the ServiceMaster family of brands serves more than 8.2 million customers every year.  Visit their website for more information & follow them on Twitter & Facebook.

This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
