What is a Kingdom Business, how do you position yourself to become one & why?
Our special guest speaker for August is Stuart Funke of the Family Wealth Institute sharing about the different aspects of becoming a Kingdom business. Stuart was born and raised in Eugene Oregon. He is a recognized financial speaker, educator and author with over 30 years in the financial planning field and holds several financial services designations such as Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Senior Advisor. Stuart and his wife Anna reside in West Linn and are very involved in several civic and charitable projects in the Portland metro area and have an extensive background in tax mitigation, financial planning, planned giving and estate planning.
Stuart enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and being outdoors and has a strong passion for his faith spending lots of time working toward helping marketplace leaders in the Portland metro area becoming transformed Kingdom Businesses. He is a charter member of Kingdom Advisors and is actively involved in several Portland area charitable organizations, including being one of the Founders of the Christian Chamber of Commerce, as well on the Board of the Serving Our Neighbors coalition.
This meeting is designed for networking, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your business or organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or round table discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
Current Members (New & Renewals under the new Membership Plan, effective September 1, 2010) must RSVP so that they are not asked to make an additional donation at the door. These Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
