Event Description:
The Portland Good Friday Breakfast is an uplifting community event that brings together leaders from the religious, business and civic communities to hear an inspirational message on the day which marks the historical death of Jesus Christ.
This year's speaker is Joel Manby, President and CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment (HFE) which owns and operates 20 theme park and entertainment properties in nine states. Joel is most well known for his appearance on the hit CBS series, Undercover Boss.
Joel will be speaking on "No Greater Love" which explores the principals of leading with love as an executive, husband and father. He turns the traditional view of leadership on its head and presents a totally different approach – A leader goes last. He also has redefined love as a verb, not an emotion, to establish how leaders are to behave.
