Our special guest speaker for April is Anne Burbank, the social media administrator and art director of Northwest Web Construction Company (NWWCC), a Vancouver, Washington based, web presence development company, formed in 1998, by Anne and her husband of 31 years, Kelly Burbank.
Over the past 14 years, NWWCC has gained an outstanding reputation for helping small businesses and organizations thrive online. The Internet continually evolves and it’s essential to develop new strategies and services to keep ahead in this industry.
That’s why, in 2010, with the rise of social media, a new division was added to NWWCC, called Social Media ConneXtion. With over 26 years of combined graphic design, business administration and marketing skills, Anne wears many different hats, including overseeing the social media division.
During her presentation titled "Is Social Media Smart For Business?", Anne will discuss some of the benefits of using social media for business and share a few tactical ways to incorporate social media networking into your current marketing plans.
