Event Description:
This meeting is designed for networking, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your business or organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting.  There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or round table discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community. 
 


Our special guest speaker for January will be Griff Lindell, speaking on "5 Tips for Business Survival - A Biblical Perspective."  Griff is an author, teacher, business coach and consultant. He writes two blogs: one on Leadership from the book of Proverbs and the other on business focusing on small business issues. For the past 30 years, he has been a marketing, strategy and leadership consultant in the Silicon Valley and is a serial entrepreneur, as well as being an adjunct professor at universities in the Portland area.
 
In 2010, his first book was published Starting Your Own Business? 10 Question to Consider Before Investing a Dime. His new book Struggling With Your Business?  10 Questions to Consider Before Investing A(nother) Dime was just released.  His eight eBooks also cover a wide range of business and leadership topics, wherein u
sing innovative and creative thinking tools, Griff shows budding entrepreneurs how to grasp an intimate understanding of customers, a thorough understanding of competitors, and a clearer understanding of themselves.

We will be meeting at the George Fox University - Villa Academic Center, located at 501 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132.

Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7am, followed by networking & breakfast until 7:30am.  Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves, wherein we then have our featured presentation from 8am-8:30am, followed by a few announcements and networking until 9am.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP Meal Charge is $8 for Guests, Expired Members & Members that have not yet renewed under the new Membership Plan, effective September 1, 2010.    The meal charge is $10 at the Door for no RSVP.
 
Members must RSVP to not be charged $8 at the Door.  Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $8 per person.  If they do not RSVP, the meal charge for a Guest is $10 per person.
