Event Description:
Our special guest speaker for November is Anne Burbank, the social media administrator and art director of Northwest Web Construction Company (NWWCC), a Vancouver, Washington based, web presence development company, formed in 1998, by Anne and her husband of 31 years, Kelly Burbank. Over the past 14 years, NWWCC has gained an outstanding reputation for helping small businesses and organizations thrive online. The Internet continually evolves and it’s essential to develop new strategies and services to keep ahead in this industry. That’s why, in 2010, with the rise of social media, a new division was added to NWWCC, called Social Media ConneXtion. With over 26 years of combined graphic design, business administration and marketing skills, Anne wears many different hats, including overseeing the social media division. During her presentation, Anne will discuss some of the basics of social media, the benefits of using it for business and she’ll share a few tactical ways to incorporate social media networking into your current marketing plans. This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting at the George Fox University - Villa Academic Center, located at 501 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.

There is a $5 Suggested Donation for Guests & Expired Members. Current Members (under the new Membership Plan, effective September 1, 2010) have access at no charge, if they RSVP. Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
