Event Description:
If, like me, you're a Pastor or church leader, you can get so focused on the day-to-day issues within your own church that it's hard to see beyond the walls. And yet you are motivated to send out servant leaders into the community and throughout the world so that Jesus Christ is worshipped in every nation and tongue!
Does this sound like you? Then I strongly encourage you to come to the Pastors' Luncheon on Wednesday, November 8. You will hear testimonials, opportunities, and information on how Mission ConneXion can equip you and your church for missions.
Portland is known for many things: rain, roses, the third least churched city in the US*, and for having the most powerful missions conference in the nation, Mission ConneXion Northwest! The next annual event -- to be held Friday and Saturday, January 18-19, 2013 -- features world-class keynote speakers Ravi Zacharias, Libby Little and Brad Buser; 125 workshops taught by leading mission experts; and more than 80 exhibitors, including some of the top mission agencies. All have the goal of training, equipping and mobilizing you and your church for missions.
We need each other to accomplish our Lord's great commission. We need to connect using all our resources and experiences to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. Mission ConneXion exists to connect local churches and individuals to mission, so that increasing numbers of believers are actively serving in areas of the world's greatest need and opportunity.
By attending the lunch November 8, you will hear how God has uniquely used Mission ConneXion to effectively mobilize God's people in mission, and how He will use you and your church!
