Join us for Pre-Conference Prayer on Thursday, January 19th!

God answers prayer and we would love for you to join us for a gathering right before the conference begins.  We will gathering in the Chapel at Crossroads Community Church.

Join us for Leadership ConneXion on Friday, January 20th!

Story Telling is the theme of this year's Leadership ConneXion. This one-day seminar provides training in the art of orality - which refers to the reliance upon the spoken, rather written word for communication.

Orality is crucial in today's mission field as:

  • Over 4 billion people in the world do not read as their primary method of learning.

  • Oral preference cultures and individuals learn in context by oral/visual means.

  • The vast majority of Christian work both locally and globally has been done using a literate means.

  • Oral cultures are very relational - they share their lives with one another.

  • Most oral cultures communicate with one another through stories, pictures and music.

  • Even in cultures that can read and write, there is a strong preference to learn by oral/relational means.
