Event Description:
This 24 hours of coach training will equip a Christian couple to work with a distressed couple, who even has divorce papers in hand and help them to save their marriage.
- A portion of the 24 hours is taught at Multnomah University as a graduate counseling course.
- PREPARE/ENRICH conducted a study of the results of MarriageTeam's lay couple coaching and found that couples who completed the coaching program reproteda 196% improvement on the communication scale and 145% improvement on the conflcit resolution scale.
- Topics covered in the training include coaching skills, coaching process, communications, anger, bitterness, forgiveness, conflict resolution, problem solving, appreciating differences, intimacy and goal setting.
