Name: How Should We Reach Millennials for Jesus? Seminar
Date: March 15, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM PDT
Website: Register Today!
Event Description:

As millennials are abandoning the traditional church in droves, they are embracing alternative spiritualities.   Is this a looming crisis or an unprecedented missional opportunity?  How should pastors, youth ministers, ministry leaders and even parents … respond? What needs to change?

Join a conversation with cultural analyst and millennial expert, Dr. John Seel that will explain how most of what we’ve been taught about millennials is wrong.  You’ll learn…
  • How to understand the vast changes in worldview, values and perspective from previous generations
  • The four segments of the millennial marketplace and how each of them thinks about God and spirituality
  • How to build a ministry that connects with millennials in the core values which drive them
Dr. John Seel will explain how millennials are the prophetic voices of potential renewal. He will show how we can best listen and capture their insights. This conversation will map the American missional landscape for the coming decades and explain how the Pacific Northwest is the missional frontline for America.  Come with your questions and walk away with hope for the future of ministry and some very practical ways to respond to the needs of millennials.

Dr. John Seel is the author of The New Copernicans: Millennials and the Survival of the Church. He is the former director of cultural engagement at the John Templeton Foundation. He is a fellow at Evangelicals for Social Action and a consultant to the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia.
