Race for Hope

At GSM we want to be a hand up, to share a heart of encouragement and to build relationships with people in need. Together we can continue to be an encouragement and a helping hand to Widows and Orphans here and around the world. Would you be willing to partner with us as a sponsor in this visionary work?

Second Annual 5k Walk/Run

Part of the proceeds from the Race for Hope 5K Run/Walk will be used locally at 5 Rock Ranch and we will be having a food drive to meet the needs of the hungry in our area. We are also working to build our vision of a Portland Metro Area Dream Center starting with Hope in Action, a mobile outreach of Widows and Orphans Committee members and Volunteers reaching out to visit the sick, lonely and hurting as God brings them to our attention.

Location – Fanno Creek Trail in Beaverton

Major road-crossings will be controlled by the Beaverton Police Department

We will have music, food & fun for everyone to enjoy.

Proceeds from the race go to local missions as well as continuing our work internationally.
