Event Description:
Our special guest speaker for April is Soorin Backer. She attended Fuller Theological Seminary in the Ph.D. Program for Clinical Psychology and completed two graduate degrees: Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Master of Arts in Theology. She has served as a youth pastor in three churches. She has also served as the coordinator for Lifeway's simulcasts in her church. For several years she has led Bible studies for women, taught studies on the fundamentals of Christian beliefs, and led DVD-based studies. At this time, she is serving as the Vice President of Mighty Women of Vision, teaches at MWOV Fresh Release School of Ministry and speaks at women's retreats and conferences. Soorin is happily married to Dr. Jonathan Backer and they have four (cherished) children.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting at the Eugene Hilton, located at 66 East 6th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 11:30am, followed by connecting until 11:50am, wherein lunch will be served at 12noon. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 12:15pm-12:45pm, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 1pm.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $15 for Guests, Expired Members. The Non-RSVP meal charge is $20 at the Door. Current Members have access at no charge, IF they RSVP. Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $15 per person. If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $20 per person.
