Are you ready for the tax season? Do you have any questions to ask a local professional with integrity and character?
Our special guest speakers for February are Peter & Susan Mar of Northwest Tax Associates, a limited liability company located near the Eugene, Oregon area. Since 1998, they have helped individuals and businesses with their income tax return preparation and planning needs.
Peter Mar has been a federally licensed tax practitioner since 1996. As an ENROLLED AGENT (EA) and LICENSED TAX CONSULTANT (LTC), he prepares income tax returns and provides advice on complex tax situations. He also holds a bachelor degree in Business Management and has consulted with business owners on improving managerial and financial processes. Susan Mar (Peter's wife) is an Oregon Licensed Tax Preparer and handles client bookkeeping and manages the office.
Peter is also a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and a past President of the Oregon Society of Enrolled Agents. He has spoken to numerous groups in business, church, and educational settings. When not working, Peter enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, camping and time with family and friends. Susan is an avid reader, gardener, baker, and teacher. They have 2 boys, Samuel age 17 and Michael age 13, that are home schooled and involved in various athletic, volunteer, and church activities.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting at the Eugene Hilton, located at 66 East 6th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 11:30am, followed by connecting until 11:50am, wherein lunch will be served at 12noon. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 12:15pm-12:45pm, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 1pm.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $15 for Guests, Expired Members. The Non-RSVP meal charge is $20 at the Door. Current Members have access at no charge, IF they RSVP. Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $15 per person. If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $20 per person.
