Let's raise up day & night worship & prayer from our state!
Since 2015, we have planned and organized a time of Worship and Prayer at the state capital (ya… I know… there has been a lot going on at the capital this year).
This is unique, in that it is a nameless worship time (no ministries advertised or emphasied) lead by many churches from all over the state. We don’t advertise ourselves here, or any ministry, it is strictly all about Jesus! No books, no political rally, no activism, no preaching, no teaching (except the evangelism trainings), just simple worship and united prayer for Oregon - 24/7 for 8 days.
This year, we also feel led to add in evangelism. So, we will have 2 small tents, one for Prayer, one for the Great Commission. We will have various local ministries lead evangelism training, as well as teams to go out to the neighborhoods and streets 2 times a day all week long. And we are calling believers from all over Oregon (literally we are calling churches state wide) to come and get trained to share their faith. There will be a baptism tank onsite at the capital as well.
Among the ministries training for evangelism are, Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Evangelism Explosion International (EEI) and many others are pending. We are using good discernment, to make sure they are strongly founded on the Word and trustworthy to the pure Gospel of Christ.
