"Hope for the Next Generation"
with our Keynote Speaker - Dr Lori Salierno

Dr. Lori Salierno is founder and CEO of Celebrate Life International, a progressive youth development non-profit organization whose mission is to transform young people into the leaders of tomorrow by coaching them through effective programs, innovative materials and well-prepared professionals. She is also co-creator of the Teach One to Lead One® philosophy, a life-changing philosophy that addresses the needs of parents and youth and challenges them to apply truth to every day living while maintaining a spirit of adventure and celebration.
Dr. Salierno has successfully equipped and motivated audiences around the world for over 20 years with her unique illustrations, well-researched concepts, and effective life applications. Her portfolio includes presentations to faith-based organizations and churches, educational institutions, business associations, and the U.S. military. Awards include the Distinguished Alumni Award from Seattle Pacific University (1999) and the Woman of the Year Award by Houston Baptist University (2004).
Her work in character and leadership development among adolescents documented in the Teach One to Lead One® program has been implemented by schools and juvenile court systems throughout the United States and the countries of South Africa, Australia, El Salvador, Switzerland and Ecuador. This approach to building character based on practical leadership skills and universal ethical principles focuses on the development of healthy relationships between young people and trained adult mentors.
Salierno's work as a keynote speaker, author, radio guest and leadership consultant has brought her to a variety of stages ranging from international church conventions to the U.S. Air Force Academy Leadership Symposium. She is an avid spokeswoman for the cause of transforming at-risk youth into responsible citizens. She balances her time between the management of her successful non-profit organization and invitations to speak to audiences throughout the world. Dr. Salierno is the author of several books and numerous articles on personal development and effectiveness. Her books include Hope Dangerously (2012), Balance at Its Best (2007), Claim to Excellence (2006), Real Solutions for Ordering Your Private Life (2001), When Roosters Crow (1997), and Designed for Excellence (1995). Lori Salierno received her Masters Degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and doctorate in Leadership Development from Asbury Theological Seminary. She holds Youth Development Professional certification and has served as an officer and board member of several organizations. She is a native of California who spent her younger years in Louisiana and high school and college years in the Pacific Northwest. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Salierno's most recent accomplishment (Summer of 2012) has been to bicycle 3,284 miles coast to coast on the Challenge the Cycle Tour for At-Risk Kids. She says that the effort was well worth it to raise awareness and funds for the kids that are reached through those who partner with Celebrate Life International. The book Hope Dangerously chronicles the ride while at the same time inspires the reader to make a positive difference in the local community.
