Clark County Mayors' & Civic Leaders' Prayer Breakfast
The 10th Annual Clark County Mayors' & Civic Leaders' Prayer Breakfast event is sponsored by the Clark County Chapters of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in America, www.fgbmfamerica.org, and is administered by an all volunteer committee of Civic and Business leaders who are dedicated to insure the success of the program, This event is a time to honor and thank those who serve our communities in Clark County as well as pray for their safety. Each year a mayor in Clark County is selected to be the Host Mayor with all the other Mayors being invited as honored guests. Also, other honored guests are Civic Leaders, elected officials as well as those in uniform including firemen, law enforcement, and the armed forces.
This year's keynote speaker is Joseph Anfuso is the Founder and President of Forward Edge International, a local faith based organization that provides international relief and development in the U.S. and various parts of the world. Born into a prominent political family in the New York City area, Joseph grew up in privilege and prestige but also with parental high expectations. Giving up the idea of being a successful attorney, he traveled the world in search of truth and meaning, studying under Mystics and Eastern Religious leaders. Joseph traveled all the way to the highest point of the Himalayan Mountains before returning home only to find that God had a plan for him that would change his life as well as many others over the coming years. Hear his inspiring story!
This year's testimonial speaker is Jackie Gust, RN has worked for a number of years as a nurse specializing in International Travel and Tropical Medicine, providing consultations and vaccinations for overseas travelers. She has traveled overseas extensibly having completed more than 50 missions to Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, Central and South America as well as Russia and Eastern Europe. Traveling as a nurse, she is able to go places that are restricted to Evangelists and Missionaries. The accounts of her exciting journeys will be shared as part of her testimony.
