Event Description:
Whether it's a business, church or ministry, how would Christ run your organization?

Our special guest speaker for August is David Madore, founder and owner of US Digital, a company that designs and manufactures high tech sensors that control motion used in factory automation, robotics, and solar power mirror positioning. A self-described inventor and problem solver, in 1980 David started his business in his Orange County, CA home after designing a much-needed encoder for a medical ultrasound company. Ten years later, he moved his business to Vancouver, WA after deciding it was the best place in America to raise a family. In 2006, he relocated his growing U.S. Digital company to an 118,000 square-foot building, later renovating the unused space and establishing the Outreach Center, a rent-free home to some 30 faith-based nonprofit organizations occupying 70 offices, classrooms, and conference rooms.
David Madore built his $17.5 million a year debt-free company employing 113 people by following his owner’s manual, known to many as the Holy Bible. He’ll readily tell you “our labor is to be used by the Lord.” One of eight children, Madore explains that, “Christianity, at its core, is about relationships. He is present. That if we represent Christ, in his heart, we’re ambassadors of Heaven.” The relational God is what led David to establish the Outreach Center, which now provide low-cost services to the community.
He and his wife of 34 years, Donna, believe that business success is more than acquiring a profit and that the role of a healthy business includes helping the community become a better place to live with caring people. Continuing in this spirit, David recently launched couv.com, providing video, audio, and photo news coverage of Clark County, WA. The proud parents of three daughters and the grandparents to a two-year old girl, the Madores hope to inspire other business leaders to model their organizations as stewards for Christ. The question to ask is, “how would Christ run your business?”
This "Lunch & Learn" meeting is designed for connecting, wherein you are invited to introduce yourself & your organization to other members & guests before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
