Name: Christian Chamber - Vancouver "Lunch & Learn"
Date: June 20, 2013
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM PDT
Registration: Sorry, public registration for this event has been closed.
Event Description:

Whether you lead a startup or a long-standing business (or non-profit), you will benefit from knowing and applying Key Insights from the Best-selling Book Ever Written on Small Business Development: The E-Myth Revisited, (by Michael Gerber.)  Leaders in Companies of every size and age need to know what usually doesn’t work; and the type of work that will move them ahead (it may NOT be what you’re thinking!)  We all want to deliver high value consistently, have the ability to grow (or even replicate our business), and ultimately gain freedom from working IN the business…so we can use it as an income source, pass it along to family, or sell it.  But how?

Our special guest speaker for June is Michael Burkesmith, who for 30+ years has been a corporate executive with firms like TransTechnology (NYSE-traded) and Day & Zimmerman (largest family-owned business in the US at the time), a leader in well-known ministries such as the Luis Palau Association, has led large technology development and marketing organizations, and launched several ventures as an entrepreneur.

For many years, Mike was a Senior Certified Consultant for E-Myth Worldwide.  He draws from this experience to offer us some high-impact insights for our business endeavors.  Mike is Owner of the C12 Group of Portland-Vancouver, the local practice for America’s largest Executive Development Services firm for top Christian leaders. As Mike brings Christian CEO’s and Owners together through C12 Group to “Build Great Businesses for a Greater Purpose”, he continues to apply E-Myth principles in Roundtable discussions, Executive Coaching and Consulting.  Mike lives in Beaverton with his wife, Melody, has five children, one grandchild and a passion for integrating business and faith in the marketplace.

This "Lunch & Learn" meeting is designed for connecting, wherein you are invited to introduce yourself & your organization to other members & guests before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber during lunch, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
