In a world where failure is always an option, how can you succeed at anything?
Our special guest speaker for November is Michael Duane Brown, lawyer, mediator, arbitrator, Peacemaker, conflict coach and LegalShield Associate. “Conflict is my life, and I’ve learned much from being a trial lawyer, and even more as a husband and father.” Brown is a Certified Toastmaster, conflict expert, and strategic planning facilitator. After setting goals, learning your values and establishing a vision… how do you git’er done? What’s the next step… and the step after that? How do you reach your goals, live your values, and make your vision happen?
As a trial lawyer, Brown learned how to prepare for a trial or appeal, marshal witnesses, exhibits, legal and factual argument to convince and persuade to reach a specific result and win the case. As a husband and father, he learned what’s even more important than being right and winning. This program will help you define success and then achieve the success you defined. Plan your work and work your plan. Brown is the father of five daughters. “They like me, and I don’t take that for granted.” He is active in the faith community, Peacemaker Ministries, and Salem Alliance Church. He enjoys movies, books and food, especially movies/books about good food. He loves to talk about religion and politics in polite company.
