Event Description:

How can your business get free team building and help develop the local workforce? 



Our special guest speaker for July is Tony Frazier, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Willamette Valley.  Tony graduated from Corban University (formerly Western Baptist College) with a degree in Finance and brings over 20 years construction experience to Habitat.  He moved here from Brookings, OR in 1987 to attend college and his wife grew up in Lebanon, OR. 

Before coming to Habitat, Tony spent 10 years as Construction Coordinator and Trainer for a national program Called YouthBuild working in Lebanon, OR.  The program works with at risk, high school drop outs ages 16-24 helping them to obtain their G.E.D. and teaching them trade skills by building habitat homes.  Tony also relocated his family in 2006/2007 to Gulfport Mississippi to work as the Construction Manager for the YouthBuild Katrina Rebuild Project sponsored by YouthBuild USA and AmeriCorps.  This project brought YouthBuild students from around the nation who utilized their new skills to help low-income families rebuild after the storm. 

Tony, his wife Colleen and his four daughters Terryn (18), Kylee (16), Corbyn (11) and Taygan (9), have recently moved from Stayton to South Salem having a strong desire to live in the community in which they both work.    They are excited to be a part of Habitat’s important work.


This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

Check in starts at 7:15am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.
