How to become a transformational leader in your home, community and workplace.
Our special guest speaker is Brad Smith, President of Bakke Graduate University which has students, faculty and alumni in over 50 countries. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he served as a legislative assistant to two US Senators then later taught and developed spiritual formation and leadership programs at Dallas Seminary. President Smith also planted Kessler Community Church near downtown Dallas, Texas and has started and sold several small businesses. Prior to BGU, he served as President of Leadership Network where he initiated several new networks for large church pastors, young leaders, and urban churches.
In 2008, Brad wrote the Joy at Work Bible Study Companion as a study guide for Christian leaders who desired to implement the concepts of Dennis Bakke’s Joy at Work in their organizations. Since that time, Brad has been part of a team that has trained over 40,000 leaders in 50 nations on how Joy at Work principles can be implemented in their business, non-profit, church or government.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or engaging discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
