How To Understand the Psychology of Clothes - Consider this, what you wear tells who you are! Can clothes really define the person?
Our special guest speaker is Kanu Jacobsen, the owner and operator of House of Nunu. Kanu is a fashion designer and as well a fusion of Life and Style Coaching, which is a reflection of her calling, skills and gifting. She is also a public speaker, a certified professional coach, and in a graduate program at Multnomah University in counseling. In addition, Kanu works as a Professional Coach for Providence Hospital, a local non-profit hospital system.
Born in Zimbabwe, Kanu came to the United States with her family and later attended Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma, to major in sports management. Kanu is passionate about assisting people to be their absolute best in the workplace, community, and in life. She is a leader and person of purpose who is dedicated to being a light and shinning a candle where there is darkness.
She attributes her passion for helping others to her loving mother: Matilda who was and still is an active member of her community.
Kanu enjoys running, tennis, hiking, shopping and is involved with ministry to women and their own personal growth.
Kanu’s morning topic will cover:
1. Understanding the psychological effects clothes have on you and others.
2. How the psychology of clothes affects your work performance.
3. How clothes determine levels of esteem and even success.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or engaging discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community. After the meeting, we will pray for any pain in your body or business & let the Holy Spirit minister healing & restoration.
