No stranger to networking, Kathie Nelson's career path is sprinkled with multiple awards for sales and leadership. Recognized in 2008 by the Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon for Lifetime Achievement for her relentless support of others in their pursuit of success, Kathie's gift for connecting and collaborating with top achievers around the nation is among the reasons her "Networking for Busy People™" workshops and strategic business keynote presentations activate audiences, inspire action, and change lives and businesses for the better.The Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon (WEO) recognized Kathie with a Lifetime Achievement award in 2009 for her contribution to the women’s business community. Kathie is also recognized as a certified management consultant (CMC) by the Institute of Management Consultants, a distinction held by less than 1% of consultants in the US.
Among Kathie's published works is a book she co-authored with her mother, Bette James Laughrun in September 2010. “I Want What She’s Got! The Secrets of Creating an Outrageous Life” Her early works include the Networking for Busy People™ curriculum and the “Busy People Guide to Getting Unstuck”.
A published author, professional speaker, and executive coach Kathie launched into consulting in 2002 using the same practical wisdom she dispenses today. She resides in Beaverton, OR with her winemaker husband, Scott enjoying their new family business venture Resolu Cellars. They look with excitement to see their legacy expand through their grandchildren.
