Event Description:
Most of us are not in the careers we are in for the short run. We want to finish well. But what does that mean? Studies of hundreds of leaders have identified 6 characteristics of leaders who finish well.
Our special guest speaker for January is Dr. Calvin (Cal) Habig, a certified professional coach who helps Christian leaders take their organizations to places of great success while working to keep the leader in a life of balance. Cal will be sharing about "The 6 Barriers to Finishing Well." After having served as a minister for thirty years, Cal moved into online education in 2008 and Professional Coaching in 2009. Cal is a graduate of Manhattan (KS) Christian College, and has completed graduate work at Emmanuel School of Religion (MDiv) and Fuller Theological Seminary (DMin). Cal has been married for over thirty years to his wife Loretta.

This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We meet at the Oregon State Office Building, located at 800 NE Oregon St, Portland, OR 97232. (Near Max Line)
Parking is available at U-Park ($3.00 - 1st Hour, $2.00 - 2nd Hour), Liberty Centre ($2.25 per hour) & in the Oregon Square (Street Meters at $2.00 per Hour).

Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7:15am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.

There is a $5 Suggested Donation for Guests & Expired Members. If they RSVP, current Members have access at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
