Event Description:
European defaults and/or bailouts – how may this affect the U.S.? Low interest rates – how long can they last? What are they actually doing to the value of real estate?  Where are we now – in a cycle or is this a game changer?  


 

Our special guest speaker for August is John Lifflander, President of Covenant Consultants, Inc a property tax consulting company and author of technical books and articles.  He recently addressed the annual meeting for the Institute for Professionals in Taxation with a similar message to the one he will present to the Christian Chamber.

John has 32 years of appraisal experience and is also an instructor and author in the appraisal field.  He has appraised facilities belonging to some of the largest industrial corporations in the world, including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Frito-Lay, Oroweat, Georgia Pacific, Alcoa and many others.  John is also a former minister and teaches the Bible at Pursuing the Word, wherein he is also an author of Christian Novels and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and has also graduated from Berean University (a seminary).

This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting in Conference Rooms C & D of the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital, located at 2211 NE 139th St, Vancouver, WA 98686
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7:15am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.

There is a $5 Suggested Donation for Guests & Expired Members. If they RSVP, current Members have access at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
