Time: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM PDT

Event Description:

One of life's great questions is not will my life be successful but will it be significant.  In this talk Jonathan Booth brings to the Christian Chamber his view of what it means to be a significant Christian business owner and some of the specific challenges faced.  Jonathan is British so his accent may be ... well ... a little English!

Our speaker guest speaker for September is Jonathan Booth, who became a pastor in 1974 and served in a parish context for 6 years.  He then led a missionary organization for 10 years giving students experience of overseas missions.  In 1989 he became the first CEO of Care for the Family, a sister organization of Focus on the Family working alongside Executive Chairman Rob Parsons and Dr. James Dobson until his retirement in 2008.  He helped build a 48 bed nursing home, chaired several charity boards and recently began to work on a social justice project with Legal Shield in the USA and one specialism of his is the support of small businesses (up to 100 employees). Jonathan now lives in Monmouth, Oregon with his wife, Karleen.  They have children in the Mid-West, London, England and Edmonton, Canada.

This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
