Event Description:
Our special guest speaker for August is Ana Briggs works with her husband, Larry Briggs at Vision to Action Solutions. Anna says her goal of becoming the best listener possible starts and ends as a wife, the mother of 5 young adults, 2 step-sons and two daughter-in-laws. Over the course of the last 25 years of staying home to raise her children Anna has been a volunteer facilitator with the Pregnancy Resource Center, The Dougy Center, a MOPs Mentor Mom and volunteering in her community at large. Anna holds a BA in Social and Behavior Science from George Fox University and is currently working to obtain her CTC and IFC credentials through Western Seminary. Anna is a recovering non-listener. Anna's practice of listening well shows up with a little voice in her head that constantly reminds her to, "Shut up and listen". Along the way she has learned a thing or two about listening and would like to share her thoughts on how to listen more intentionally and skillfully. Come prepared to listen...intently.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting at the George Fox University - Villa Academic Center, located at 501 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7:15am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.

There is a $5 Suggested Donation for Guests & Expired Members. If they RSVP, current Members have access at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
