Event Description:
Our special guest speaker for June is David Andersen of Andersen Construction a $300 million a year construction management, general contracting and project management business working in six western states. David grew up in construction, working in summers for the contracting business his father started in 1950. Instead of heading for a construction job-site following high school he spent the next five years traveling the Northwest club circuit playing bass in a rock ‘n’ roll band. Realizing rock ‘n’ roll stardom wasn’t in his future, he enrolled at Oregon State University in the Construction Engineering Management Program. After graduating in 1980 with a degree in business and a minor in CEM, he joined Andersen Construction, at that time a $55 million a year industrial/retail contractor. In 1989, after becoming president, he expanded the business into new markets including healthcare, high-tech, and housing. David and his wife Glenda have three children and six grandchildren. All of their children joined the business after they graduated from college, and represent Andersen’s third generation. David also serves on the board of directors of George Fox University.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.

We will be meeting at the George Fox University - Villa Academic Center, located at 501 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 7:15am, followed by connecting until 7:45am. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves around 8am, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 8:15am-8:45am, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 9am.

There is a $5 Suggested Donation for Guests & Expired Members. If they RSVP, current Members have access at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein the Suggested Donation for their Guest is $5 per person.
