What are the potential perils facing Christian business people because of the current nondiscrimination laws sweeping the nation?
Our special guest speaker is Herb Grey, lead counsel defending Christian bakery owners Aaron and Melissa Klein in their nationally publicized “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” freedom-of-conscience case.
Grey is a Beaverton attorney with almost 35 years of civil practice experience handling a variety of cases, including constitutional and civil rights litigation in state and federal courts, as well as practicing before administrative agencies.
He is also a member of the Oregon State Bar and is admitted to practice in all Oregon state courts and before the U.S. District Court in Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Grey is affiliated with Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian public interest law firm, and a longtime member of the Christian Legal Society.
