What is “the main thing” in life and how can we live the way God intended for us in our community, our business, our family?
Our special guest speaker is George La Du, a longtime pastor from Tigard who has a special focus on helping business people. A graduate of Jesuit High School in Portland, La Du came to faith through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ while attending Southern Oregon University. After attending both state college and Bible college, he served 14 years as associate pastor at Aloha Community Church near Beaverton and then 26 years pastoring Jubilee Christian Fellowship. La Du also managed jewelry stores for 17 years as well as having his own business. His cutting-edge discipleship program, The Identity Project, aims to help individuals “grow up” quickly in their relationship with God as they discover their identity through the gospel of God’s Kingdom.
This meeting is designed to help you build your network, wherein you will be invited to introduce yourself & your organization during the meeting, as well as meet with other guests & members before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or engaging discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community. After the meeting, we will pray for any pain in your body or business & let the Holy Spirit minister healing & restoration.
