Christian Chamber - Greater Portland "Lunch & Learn"
Whether you are a baby boomer looking to transition the ownership of your business in the near future, or if you are still in the early stages of building your company – it is critical to understand the value you have created, how to increase it, and how to extract it when you are ready. Companies of every size need to be considering a continuity plan, a succession plan, a transition plan or an exit plan.

Our special guest speaker for February is Arnie Hendricks, a certified Management Accountant, Exit Planning Advisor, and a Family Business Advisor, sharing about "Succession Planning – Preserving Value and Legacy." Arnie has over 20 years of consulting with small to medium sized businesses on how to improve profitability and build value, and is now focused on helping companies to effectively transition their ownership.
Proper planning allows for the perpetuation of the legacy you have built as well as assisting in your ability to maximize the value of your company. It can take 3 to 5 years to effectively transition ownership in a privately held business, so it is never too early to know how to get started! Arnie will also be presenting the “Guardrails” that the Bible provides to us to guide us through this important topic – and all of the decisions we make as Christians within our daily business activities.
This "Lunch & Learn" meeting is designed for connecting, wherein you are invited to introduce yourself & your organization to other members & guests before & after the meeting. There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community.
