It's "No More Business As Usual" & starting your year off right with Growth, Opportunity & Vision: A conversation with Christian Chamber Northwest - Board of Directors!



2014 is in the rear view mirror & 2015 is an open book!  The Christian Chamber of Commerce experienced growth in last year in many different areas and introduced new leadership.  Join us to learn more about the opportunities for you as a leader in the community as our panel shares the updates on our vision, mission and focus for this year.

Wende
Jones is a native Oregonian and has spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She resides in the Beaverton area with her husband and her two daughters when they are not away at college, with her third daughter and grandchildren close by.  She is founder and CEO of Agile Business Services a software development company that focuses on building applications for the web and mobile devices for her clients that are spread out from Oregon to Washington DC. She has her credentials as a certified management consultant (CMC) and is a founding member of the Christian Chamber Northwest and serves as Chair of the Board.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for Nehemiah Project International Ministries because of her desire to see other Christian business owners excel and build sustainable and profitable kingdom businesses. Wende is an accomplished speaker and business consultant and enjoys educating CEO’s and other top executives on technology and innovation. She speaks in Christian marketplace groups, conferences and venues to encourage, edify and train employees, leaders and business owners for their marketplace mission field. Whether CEO of a business or pastor of a church we are all called to minister to those God puts before us.  She truly believes that if we are all moving in our calling and election we are in full-time ministry in the sphere of influence we have been called to!


Ron Frey
started Frey Resource Group in 2010 with a passion to see his clients become extraordinarily successful in fundraising.  In a career that now spans more than 30 years, Ron has given leadership to two international organizations as Chief Development Officer, helped launch a foundation, pioneered corporate sponsorship for a series of highly successful city-wide events and mentored and trained hundreds of non-profit leaders in successful fundraising.  His consulting and training work has benefited a wide-variety of ministry organizations from domestic and foreign missions, youth organizations, camps, churches and international relief and development organizations.  Ron enjoys working with clients on a personal basis to create marketing and fundraising solutions. His passion is to see organizations and team members grow into their full potential and make a difference in the world. His clients also look to him for counsel on vision and mission, organizational development issues, direct marketing and branding. Ron’s innovative Breakthroughs in Fundraising!sm training program is designed to help non-profit leaders become personally successful at fundraising.  Ron’s has served on the boards of Portland Christian Schools and the Northwest Christian Community Foundation. Ron and his wife, Suzanne, have three children and live in Happy Valley, Oregon.


Julie Sies
is the Founder of Exponential Functions and Co-Founder of T&D Associates, a property management company.  She is also the Event Planner for City Wide Events for Transformational Leadership.  Exponential Functions works with strategic partners to grow companies and individuals to fulfill their mission and purpose by listening, learning then strategically developing solutions that deliver results. She is also a principle with a start up real estate software company Realvation, serving as the National Launch Manager.  She has worked with private, public and non-profit entities as a Project Manager, Event Consultant, and Supervisor. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WeCare Oregon, a consulting firm serving the nonprofit sector (YMCA, Portland Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission), she brought her expertise to local charities resulting in 30 fundraising events that raised thousands of dollars. She also served as the Event Coordinator with the international disaster relief organization Medical Team's International in the fundraising and marketing areas. She provided strategic development and project management for the renovations and permanent installation of a 10,000 square foot interactive exhibit showing the plight and recovery of disasters. Coordinating over 50 events during her tenure she developed a signature auction revitalizing fundraising within the organization.  Julie has 30 years of leadership development, project management, and marketing experience. She has a passion for seeing vision come to reality and provides strategic thinking, drive, and passion along with public speaking, training, and mentoring to any organization she works with. Julie is known for bringing growth and development to organizations by creating teams and systems that drive results. She has an MBA from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Arts from Chico State University in Recreation Administration with an Arts Management emphasis.  She and her husband Dale have been married for 32 years and have raised two wonderful daughters. Julie serves on the Christian Chamber of Commerce Northwest Board of Directors and volunteers with her husband Dale who works on the Pastoral team of Resound Church in Portland.  They have been in Pastoral ministry for 20 years and have a passion to build community wherever they go.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $20 for Guests, Expired Members. The Non-RSVP meal charge is $25 at the Door.  If they RSVP, current Members have access at no charge.  Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $20 per person. If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $25 per person.
