Event Description:

Cross-cultural Leadership Benchmarks for Christian Business Leaders, or “Hmm… all my customers are Chinese – am I prepared for that?”

In this short seminar, participants will be introduced to measures of cross-cultural competency as they are applied to Christian business leadership.


Our special guest speaker is Professor Associate Professor of Business & Management at Northwest Christian University (
Ph.D. Int’l Trade Management, Dankook University in Korea, M.B.A. Oregon State University, B.A. Journalism, University of Oregon)

Dr. Veach joined NCU in 2015, after four years in the Department of International Business at Dankook University in South Korea. He has been blessed with broad international experience, having lived and worked in Asia for 15 years, while engaging in business activities in North America and Europe. He has nearly 10 years of university teaching experience, and his primary teaching interests are global business, international organizations, strategy and international marketing.

While in Korea, Dr. Veach engaged in corporate training and consulting projects for major Korean MNCs, including Hyundai Kia Motor Group, SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, Daewoo Engineering and Construction, Hanwha Group, LG Chem (LG Electronics), World Taekwondo Federation, etc.

Dr. Veach’s primary research interest area is international/cross-cultural organization behavior, and he has multiple publications in the area of expatriate management for Korean firms.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $15 for Guests, Expired Members.  The Non-RSVP meal charge is $20 at the Door.  Members must RSVP in order to register at no charge.  Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $15 per person.  If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $20 per person. All Sales are Final.
