Christian Chamber - Greater Albany "Coffee Chat"
Our special guest speaker is Jerry McIntosh. In 1994, Jerry moved to Albany, Oregon from Tacoma, Washington to assume the position of Vice President for Clinical Administration at Albany General Hospital. He left the Hospital in March 2003 as the Chief Operations Officer under Samaritan Health, wherein he remains a Fellow with the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE).
Jerry continued development of a management consulting firm, Northwest Leadership Group, LLC which he had begun in 1999. In that capacity he provided consultation to medium and large employers in areas pertaining to work environments, performance improvement, strategic planning and coaching for young entrepreneurs.
In 2005, he acquired a staffing agency from Samaritan Health in agreement with Larry Mullins, the CEO of Samaritan Health. The business has extremes in cycles, with a very profitable operation until 2008, when hospitals ceased using registry personnel. The registry activity has increased steadily with the advent of Obama Care. Jerry and his wife have also opened up two adult Foster homes in West Albany under the name Willamette Senior Services. With the adjustments to the business model, they have seen steady growth in this business and are contemplating opening another home.
In the midst of this activity, they also founded an international Christian humanitarian enterprise, called Willamette International (WI). Activities are principally focused in Sierra Leone now and include medicine, well-drilling, business development, agriculture and more recently, orphan care for Ebola victims and a Bible Institute. WI has four families onsite at their Non-Government Organization facility (NGO) at Newton Dam, Koya Rural in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

There will also be a short presentation regarding the Chamber, as well as a special guest speaker or engaging discussion in regards to a topic designed to help you Connect, Learn, Grow, Save &/or Engage with your community. After the meeting, we will pray for any pain in your body or business & let the Holy Spirit minister healing & restoration.
