Event Description:

Our special guest speaker for October is Jamie Pyles of Samaritan Ministries International. Jamie is currently a Group Recruiting Specialist for Samaritan Ministries, a Christian alternative to health insurance. He has been a resident of Oregon for 60 years and has resided in the same home in the Creswell area for 37 years. In December he will celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary with his high school sweetheart, Ilene. He and Ilene are the proud parents of three adult children and are blessed with four grandchildren. Prior to beginning his role with Samaritan Ministries, Jamie owned and operated an auto repair business on his property outside of Creswell. He and his wife are both PK’s and he has taught adult Sunday school classes and home Bible studies for at least 30 years. They have attended First Baptist Church in Eugene for about 20 years. He has served on the administrative boards of a Christian school, two churches, and on the board for Samaritan Ministries. Jamie likes to hunt elk with a bow and he is currently working on a book regarding the true meaning of “following Jesus.”

We will be meeting at the Eugene Hilton, located at 66 East 6th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401.
Date/Time Information:
Check in starts at 11:30am, followed by connecting until 11:50am, wherein lunch will be served at 12noon. Then after a short presentation about the Christian Chamber, we ask everyone to introduce themselves, wherein we then have our featured speaker from 12:15pm-12:45pm, followed by a few announcements and connecting until 1pm.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $15 for Guests, Expired Members. The Non-RSVP meal charge is $20 at the Door. Members must RSVP in order to register at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $15 per person. If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $20 per person.
