Psalms 37:4 - “Take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Our special guest speakers for October are Kevin & Tammy Rife, who opened their first Rife’s Home Furniture location in Eugene nearly 17 years ago. They had worked in a family owned business in the Seattle area for years, but believed that God had more for them if they only trusted Him. The decision, however, did not come easy with the thought of uprooting their three young daughters. After much prayer and committing things to the Lord, Kevin approached their senior pastor at the time and shared with him the tug of war he was experiencing. He had this strong hearts desire and yet questioned if it was from God or self. His pastor shared that at times those desires are actually placed in our hearts by God and He expects us to trust in Him. For Kevin and Tammy, this was the green light they had waited for. They sold their home, their car, and began the process of securing a Small Business loan in order to have the funds needed to open their first store. Their story is one of how God’s mighty hand has moved from the beginning to the present, not only in their business but also in their family.

Fees/Admission:
The RSVP meal charge is $15 for Guests, Expired Members. The Non-RSVP meal charge is $20 at the Door. Members must RSVP in order to register at no charge. Members may also invite Guests, wherein if they RSVP, the meal charge is only $15 per person. If they do not RSVP for their Guest, the meal charge for their Guest is $20 per person.
