Event Description:
Whether in ministry, business or a combination sow bountifully, do good and don't give up because obstacles are opportunities! Galatians 6:9, "Do not grow weary of doing good for in due season you will reap a harvest if you don't give up."

Our special guest speaker for June is Elizabeth Thompson, founder and CEO of Mighty Women of Vision, whose mission is to equip women to be the hands, feet, heart and voice of Jesus through their Toast the King gatherings and philanthropy work. After returning from India this past February, Elizabeth realized she was to lead MWOV into a global vision. Already through MWOV's Living Water Well Fund, they have raised funds for the installation of a bore-well in southern India. She is currently teaming up with a ministry in Uganda and starting a sponsorship program which will educate, feed and give housing to young girls whom otherwise would become "child brides" in Uganda. Elizabeth is a native Oregonian. She and her husband of 37 years, Joe, have reared three daughters and are now grandparents to seven children. Joe and Elizabeth live outside of Junction City on a hazelnut orchard, farmed by Joe.
