Almost Home: Preparation for Home Buying Class
Super serious…or dubiously curious about buying a home in the next two months or two years?
We're gathering a small group of Christ-oriented adventures to learn about the home buying preparation, qualification and purchasing process. We’ll be sharing practical tips from industry professionals and discussing biblical perspectives of debt and home ownership.
Class will include an overview of budgeting for a home, reviewing credit, income and savings requirements, working with mortgage and real estate professionals, as well as understanding home inspections and repairs.
Financial Peace University graduates welcome as we will also be covering minimizing debt in planning one’s purchase.
We’ll kick off the Spring class on Wednesday, April 30th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. We’ll have some wine, beer, juice and light appetizers so we can get to know each other and where we are in the journey.

There is NO COST to participate in this group however we do wish to fellowship and join in community with a consistent group of attendees. If you are committed to attending as many of the six classes as possible, you are welcome to join the group. It is also not a requirement or expectation that you be a Christ-Follower to journey with us. We will be discussing several aspects of homeownership in a Biblical context, participation in the discussions is voluntary and all are welcome.
