Event Description:

In today's business & professional world, as well as the faith community, there is a lot of talk about mentoring.  Do you have a mentor in your life?  Are you mentoring anyone and passing what you have received to the next generation?  Do you know what it takes to be mentored or to mentor others?

Our special guest speaker for March is William W. Lattin, Ph.D. who started his career in 1969 with Motorola Semiconductor Products Division.  From 1975 until 1986, Bill was with Intel Corporation.  Dr. Lattin has served on the Board of Directors of the Logic Modeling, Synopsys, FEI Company, Merix Corporation, Adexa, Intrinsity, Tripwire and is still on the Radisys Inc. and Easystreet Online Services Inc. Boards.

In 2005, Bill was awarded the TechAmerica Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition for his work in the high tech industry.  He has earned a B.S.E.E., a M.S.E.E. from the University of California at Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.

For many years now, Bill has been a part of several mentoring relationships and has learn much about investing into the lives of young professionals.  In addition to these professional interests, Bill has two children and nine grandchildren and when time allows he and his wife June like to travel.
